About IJFW & Organizer
IJFW – (INDIA JEWELLERY & FASHION WEEK – Multi City, Season 1) kick – started on 19th, 20th 21st & 22nd September at YMCA INTERNATIONAL Centre, Ahmedabad. It was the First ever combination of Fashion and Jewellery week. More than 20 designers showcased their collection during these 4 days. 18-20 separate shows were held with approximately 500 Visitors per show. More than 20 top liner models, Show Stopper Models and Bollywood Stars walked for the show. Who’s Who of the state were the invited guests, National and International buyers and Media, all were part of the show.
This year’s participants included an impressive line-up of leading Indian brands such as PC Jewellers, Ciemme, Shri Haridarshan Jewellers, Raju Bhai Zaveri(RBZ), INSTYLE by Bhavani Gems, Kiah Diamonds, Pooja Diamonds, Alite Orneato, N.S. Jewels Designers such as Sonia Mehra Creations, Mohit Falod, Sharad Raghav, Palak Couture, Sumit Das Gupta. Lifestyle segment was having Piaggio Vespa, Cher style check and Globus showcasing their collections along with well-known institutes such as IDT and association such as GJTCI who promoted their promising upcoming talent.
MR. KEYUR DESAI, show director and choreographer (man behind IJFW) says “IJFW was an initiative to showcase (Amalgamation of jewellery and fashion for the first time ever), be it designs, innovation, craftsmanship, technology or quality to the customers around the globe. Gujarat, with double-digit growth rates, continues to outspace growth in other Indian states and burgeoning with energy and passion when it comes to jewellery and fashion. IJFW 2013 brought a glittering collection of the finest jewels, In- Trend clothing, Bollywood’s gracious celebrities and an elitist audience, which were the perfect ingredients for the most happening show in Gujarat.”
To say about Mr. Desai, all the sequences of IJFW were directed and choreographed by him. Mr. Keyur Desai has a wide experience of more than 700 Fashion shows nationally & internationally.
